Food products are ideally suited for topload or endload packaging. When packed on a tray, machine placement of a cardboard sleeve is an option.

The choice of packaging line is determined by the most efficient manner of filling, which depends in part on your production process and your product. When more than one item is loaded to a carton, top loading makes a handy filling method because of its large fill opening. The product can also be bulk filled or pre-packaged and slid into a package as a whole.
